Virtual Reality Interface
The VRI Virtual Reality Interface box utlises the full functionality of the Vector 430i, 750i and 950i pan and tilt heads as well as working with the "E" series encoded heads from Vinten in virtual reality applications.
The VRI box processes the positional data from the head encoders (and auxillary instruments in the "i" series heads) and also offers a direct interface to lenses with encoder outputs (or bolt on lens encoders) to provide a single data stream to the graphics rendering system.
The VRI can be configured to work the head mounted to a fixed mount (tripod, post etc) or to the Quattro SE tracking pedestal for full 6 axis tracking.
Each VRI box is supplied with mounting brackets, GUI and head interface cable and can be re-configured with the Quattro SE software to give X, Y, Z axis VR movement, as required.
