Versine 240 supports payloads up to 25 kg (55 lb), ideal for 40x zoom lenses and RF setups used with monocular viewfinders. Its compact chassis is lightweight enough for field work, but tough enough for demanding productions – perfect for roaming OB setups, live events, and ENG positions. Perfect Balance™ technology ensures smooth positioning at any tilt angle, and TF30 Drag delivers exceptionally steady framing for long lens operation, while still allowing fast whip pans. All controls stay in a fixed position on the left side, so adjustments are quick and instinctive.
This system combines the Versine 240 with the Pozi-Loc carbon fibre EFP tripod – a rigid EFP configuration ideal for controlling the frame at the long end of 20x and 40x lenses. The two-stage tripod uses precise geometry and the highest quality materials to optimise torsional rigidity for higher drag settings, without compromising operational essentials such as weight, reliability, maintenance and speed of set-up. Pozi-Loc cam operated clamps turn 90˚ from on to off, providing positive indication that the tripod is securely locked, while the profile of the knob ensures that camera cables cannot snag. The system also includes a ground spreader for maximum stability on flat surfaces, and a wheeled, rigidised soft case for transportation.
