The Vector 75 is ideal for broadcast cameras and lenses, whether ENG or full box lenses. The unique pantographic balance mechanism is quick and simple to adjust, perfectly balancing even large payloads. This counterbalance mechanism, combined with the Vinten infinitely adjustable LF drag system provides the ultimate in smooth, precise quality of movement.
The head includes a retractable “T” bar slide plate positioner for easy positioning of the camera package, and standard prompter bar mountings on the front of the platform.
In this system the Vector 75 is combined with a Quattro-SL pedestal to create a premium compact studio solution. Incorporating most of the features of the larger Quattro pedestals, the smaller footprint of the Quattro-SL allows it to easily track through confined spaces and work in close proximity to other pedestals. The unique four-stage pedestal design provides an extensive height range and the opportunity to achieve lower angle shots, as well as an impressive on-shot stroke of 100 cm / 39.4 “. Its revolutionary low pressure pneumatic design ensures that the pedestal provides Perfect Balance throughout its elevation to offer the exact support required for the camera operator to raise and lower the camera with minimal effort.
The Quattro-SL allows both single wheel and ‘all wheel’ crab steering, allowing repositioning in tight spaces and on-shot operation. Its durable aluminium skirted base offers ultimate stability and comes with an integral cable guard to prevent cable damage and ensure smooth framing.
