The Vector 75 is ideal for broadcast cameras and lenses, whether ENG or full box lenses. The unique pantographic balance mechanism is quick and simple to adjust, perfectly balancing even large payloads. This counterbalance mechanism, combined with the Vinten infinitely adjustable LF drag system provides the ultimate in smooth, precise quality of movement.
The head includes a retractable “T” bar slide plate positioner for easy positioning of the camera package, and standard prompter bar mountings on the front of the platform.
In this system the Vector 75 is combined with an Osprey Studio S pedestal, mounting easily via the included Quickfix adaptor. The Osprey Studio S is a full studio version of the Osprey Elite and is capable of supporting large payloads with box lenses and teleprompters. It can track talent eyelines from a seated to standing position ‘on shot’ with its extended fully balanced range. With an inlet valve for any air source, Perfect Balance is easy to achieve. A storage area is included for the camera operator’s convenience. The Osprey Studio has a selector for both single wheel and ‘all wheel’ crab steering, allowing repositioning in tight spaces and on-shot operation. The durable skirted base offers ultimate stability and comes with an integral cable guard to prevent cable damage and ensure smooth framing.
