GET KNOCKOUT RESULTS WITH THE NEW VECTOR 900 & 450 AND THE NEW HDT TRIPOD SYSTEMS

04/10/2004

With all the functionality of the original award winning Vector range, but with improved robustness, a brand new balance mechanism and a host of improved features, the New Vector 900 & 450 have been designed for the future, offering the camera operator significantly better picture control and improved performance from a smaller package.

These two new portable pan and tilt heads are ideal for the harsh conditions often faced in outside broadcast. Added features such as a retractable carry handle, and an LC multifunction display offering counterbalance readout, a permanent 24hr clock and a stopwatch, makes set-up and repositioning simple and efficient.

For larger indoor venues and outside work alike, the extended tilt capacity of up to ±90° allows the camera operator to achieve much larger coverage. Longer lenses combined with 16 x 9 picture formats place huge demands on today's camera operator. The characteristics of the TF drag system combined with the infinitely adjustable perfect balance, means the effort needed to control the effect of a moving camera remains both constant and predictable. The radically new counterbalance mechanism also allows much lighter movement than previously possible, ensuring you keep in touch with the action, no matter how fast or slow the subject may be.

Complementing the Vector 900 are the new HDT-1 & 2 tripods, offering the most extensive height range available from any heavy-duty tripod system. These sturdy tripods include their own integral carrying handle and convenient set up features such as an integral level bubble and clear leg markings for rapid and repeatable set-up. These features together with the tough new single piece mid-level spreader and the new clamping system, ensure maximum rigidity and reliability in any situation, allowing you to frame the shot with confidence and get the very best from your camera setup.
