Vinten, a Vitec Group company and world leader in broadcast supports, have announced they will present the winner of Best Overall Production in the IOV's 2011 Awards with a Vision blue system.
IOV Chairman, Ron Lee, commented: "This is really great news and another indication of the value placed on the IOV Awards by the industry's leading manufacturers. I guess its only natural that the best products should be associated with the best talent in the industry - and the winner of the Best Overall Production certainly fits that bill."
Peter Harman, Product Manager at Vinten, has been instrumental in building a healthy working relationship with the IOV and its members for many years, and recently traveled around the various IOV regions gathering feedback on what professional videographers wanted from their support products. This gave Vinten a unique insight into the market's dreams and desires which culminated in the development and launch of the Vision blue last year.
Peter added: "We have a great deal of respect for the IOV and its drive to raise standards in video production. In this respect we share a common goal in wanting to develop tools that enable videographers to create truly exceptional video content. You simply can't do this without well thought out tripods and support technology. Vision blue is yet another result of us working closely with the IOV and industry in general and long may it continue."
