Vinten will be showcasing a selection of its outdoor broadcast equipment at the Studiotech Open Days on 22 & 23 May 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.
Vinten’s products will be on display in one of Studiotech’s latest production OB vans, which has been set up to provide visitors with a hands-on demonstration of some of the broadcast industry’s latest products.
Studiotech Belgium is a key regional partner for Vinten - its main business is the distribution, sales, installation and after-sales servicing of professional audiovisual equipment. The company also designs and installs turnkey projects such as recording and mixing studios, editing suites and mobile OB units.
Visitors to the open day can participate in the interactive environment in the fully kitted studio OB van, which will display equipment from major broadcast manufacturers. Vinten products selected to appear in the Studiotech OB van are the Vision 250 system, complete with a 150mm bowl Pozi-Loc tripod, as well as the company’s Vector 430 head.
Vinten’s class leading Vision 250 is designed to support the latest portable cameras complete with viewfinders, prompters and pan bar controls. The pan and tilt head is rapidly becoming the standard for studio production as well as OB/EFP applications, it offers a choice of easily changeable spherical or flat bases, and can be mounted on any pedestal or tripod.
Vinten’s new Vector 430 pan and tilt head will also be demonstrated, it is aimed at the growing number of applications that use both the compact box lens and large EFP barrel lenses. The Vector 430 has a unique design incorporating the company’s renowned Perfect Balance in a previously unattainable compact and lightweight package while providing an extremely large capacity range of 10-43kg (22-94.8lbs). The encoded version of the head, Vector 430i delivers precise positional data, making it the ideal choice for virtual reality and augmented reality in OB environments.
