Vinten Broadcast are pleased to announce their sponsoring role with Filmmakers for Conservation (FFC) to whom they have supplied a brand new set of two-stage carbon fibre legs with mid-level spreader, a Vision 11 pan & tilt head and a set of baby legs. Shortly they will also be supplying a Vision 3 head and tripod to FFCs colleagues in America. The kit is currently held in London where it is being used by FFC Director Chris Dickinson for shooting commercials - the income from the hire of the equipment goes straight to FFC. The baby legs have proved to be a particular hit, allowing for some excellent low ground footage.
" The day after I picked up the tripod I used it on a shoot and charged £65 for its hire, which went to FFC. It is a small amount but will soon mount up." Chris Dickinson
Chris aims to create full shooting kits that FFC members will be able to use for conservation filmmaking - reflecting a considerable reduction in the production costs. This type of "in kind sponsorship" is a great way of supporting FFC and very cost effective
