AUTOCAM NLD

Native Lens Drives
Compatible with full servo broadcast Canon and Fujinon Lenses

Vinten Native Lens Drives recognise different lenses and communicate intelligently to the lens software, which in turn allows easy interchangeability of lenses and provides much greater freedom in the choice of lens and location.

Native Lens Drive technology is incorporated into the design of Fusion range heads.  The Vinten range of Native Lens Drives has been designed to support existing customers with Autocam pan and tilt heads.

The Autocam Native Lens Drive (AM NLD) is backwards compatible with all Autocam heads.

Incorporating A&C Ltd's video lens control system, the Autocam NLDs provide analogue and digital lense drive outputs for the control of modern full servo Superbox and ENG lenses through plug-in cables rather than a fitted lens bracket.  The cables can then be unplugged easily if the camera is required for use elsewhere, and then reconnected in seconds back in the studio.

The Native Lens Drives communicate intelligently with the lens software, and enabble operators to change lenses quickly and simply.  Lens calibration for zoom and focus control starts automatically at power up and takes less than a second for serial control or 40 seconds for analogue control.  No further manual intervention is required.
