Vinten®, a Vitec Group brand, has responded to demands from users of today's DV-based multi-purpose cameras with a stunning new addition to its trusted Protouch lightweight camera support range. Introducing the Pro-5^Plus.

Within the Pro-5^Plus pan and tilt head is a switchable counterbalance spring for smoother, controllable tilt movements, separate pan and tilt locks, continuously variable pan and tilt drag for smoother panning, a 75mm spherical base and level bubble for rapid setup, a quick release Sideload camera attachment system for convenient attachment and release from the head, and a fixed length pan bar that can be positioned to suit any preference.

Despite its lightweight construction, no compromises have been made on camera stability. With a solidly engineered single-stage Pozi-loc Aluminium tripod and lightweight floor spreader, the Pro-5^Plus offers class-leading rigidity with maximum control - as any user of Vinten equipment would expect.

The grab-and-go Pro-5^Plus system offers two levels of counterbalance; position 1 for the smallest of Camcorders requiring no counterbalance and position 2 for camcorders up to a maximum of 4.5 kg.
