The Quattro-S, small base studio pedestal, is the latest addition to the Quattro range, synonymous with studio and OB production for its unrivalled functionality and stunning ergonomics. This new addition is a compact pedestal designed for multi-camera studio applications and is perfect for stunning on-air moves through narrow or restricted sets.
The Quattro pedestal range offers a four stage telescopic column, allowing such exceptional minimal height that it makes raised staging a thing of the past. Eye line shots are easily achieved on, or off a raised platform. The patented triangular column design also offers unrivalled torsional stiffness, minimising all unwanted rotational movement. The low pressure pneumatic system combined with the high precision bearing configuration provides silky smooth, perfectly counterbalanced elevation movement, allowing quiet and seamless on air motion.
The Quattro-S with its small base has the added advantage of a being able to track through any 30" (75 cm) doorway or set restriction. It also has a small steering ring including tactile direction indicators together with low friction wheels allowing confident tracking and reduced steering effort in any direction. In addition to this, the new balance profile minimises the effort required by the operator to raise the camera and therefore reduces fatigue.
