Vinten is introducing a new addition to their acclaimed Vision series, with the worldwide launch of the VISION 6 at NAB 2000. A refined, lightweight and compact pan & tilt head, the Vision 6 has been specifically designed to meet the growing demand for a high performance, flexible pan & tilt head to support today’s portable digital cameras.
Appealing to a broad range of applications, with a counterbalance range of 4.5 to 10 kg (9.9 - 22 lbs), the Vision 6 is the lightest Vision head in the range, weighing less than 2.5kg (5.3 lbs). With a maximum payload capacity of 10 kg, the Vision 6 can simply and effectively balance a wide variety of new lightweight cameras, utilising the unique Vision ‘perfect balancing system’, enabling you to position the pan & tilt head at any point, and just leave it - there is no ‘fall away’.
The Vision 6 also features an illuminated levelling bubble for quick and easy set-up especially in low-light situations, together with a true ±90° of perfectly balanced camera movement throughout the full range of pan & tilt.
The Vision 6 incorporates a calibrated, fully variable LF drag mechanism which is a progressive, fluid drag system, allowing in-built ‘on demand’ whip pan capability and precision movement with total control throughout the shot.

Vision 6 systems are available with a single or two-stage tripod option in both aluminium and carbon fibre, and you can choose between torque-safe or toggle clamp leg locks.
