Vinten® is recognised as the global market leader in camera support technology for broadcast professionals, with their Vector pan and tilt heads regarded as the industry standard across the studio and OB world.
Now, Vinten has taken this technology into a new generation with the launch of the Vector 750 pan & tilt head, making its debut at IBC 2007.
The Vector 750 has taken the best of the functionality and durability of the
Vector 700 Standard and “H” versions and made it even better in one revolutionary new system.
A key benefit of the Vector 750 is that it has a Centre of Gravity range span of 80mm – 250mm. This covers the full C of G of both the Vector 700 models and makes product selection much easier for broadcast professionals looking for a broad range of product capability.
The maximum payload of the Vector 750 is 75kg, increased from 70kg on the Vector 700, making it easier to operate with more camera accessories such as talent monitors and spotlights.
Other key features include:
ergonomic design improvement to the Slide Plate positioner
inclusion of higher output drag modules for increased available friction range so giving better control for heavier payloads
optional Side Mounted Monitor Bracket to accommodate mounting viewfinders on the side of the head.
Overall, the Vector 750 retains all of the excellent, proven operational features of the Vector 700 including smooth operation in both pan and tilt movements with infinite adjustability for both the balance and drag systems. The inclusion of some stainless steel internal components also makes the Vector 750 even more durable and robust.
The first ever public demonstrations of the unique capabilities of the
Vector 750 pan and tilt head system will be given by Vinten during IBC 2007.
