MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System, Inc.) is well known as the first commercial TV station in Japan. Obviously using a wide array of technology, Vinten is the choice for camera support equipment throughout the organisation from Vision 100 systems for the ENG crew through to the trusted Vector 70 heads used by the engineering division for outside broadcasting.
They have now added to their inventory, recently ordering four Studio Quattro’s complete with the new Vector 900 pan and tilt heads. MBS decided on this equipment as were impressed with the products operation, balance, cost and its excellent performance.
"Launched at IBC 04 the new Vector 900 heads are proving popular among those already familiar with the Vector range and along with the Quattro is ideal for studio applications such as that at MBS" – (Katie Saunders , Marketing Co-ordinator, Vinten)
The new equipment has now been installed in the News studio where it is being used daily to bring high quality images and smooth shots to the viewers.
